Bottom up Adaptation Strategies for a Sustainable Europe

Inês Campos

Inês Campos (isobralcampos@gmail.com) graduated in Communication Sciences, has a master in Political Science and is now a student in the Climate Change and Sustainability Policies PhD Program, developing research in the area of Environmental Sociology. Her thesis research is focused on the sociological component of transitions to sustainability, as well as applying and developing participatory methods. She has been the coordinator of the UN Millennium Campaign in Portugal and has worked as a social sciences researcher in Project PERDA – Study and Reflection on Food Waste in Portugal. She will be dealing mainly with the sociological aspects of adaptation processes, focusing on understanding transformative changes in societal structures, cultures and practices. She will also be working with dissemination and communication strategies and implementation at the local and national level.
