Sabine Weiland

Sabine Weiland (social scientist) is a senior researcher at the Department Environmental Politics. Her areas of expertise are environmental and sustainability governance, reflexive governance, policy learning, knowledge in policy-making, and policy integration. She is involved in various research projects in the field of environmental governance, policy assessment, and science-policy interfaces. Sabine’s work for BASE is mainly on the review of the state of policy integration in climate adaptation policies (at the European, national and local level) and the demand for and use of information for decision-making on adaptation. Furthermore, she is working on criteria for assessment of climate adaptation.
