The Adaptation Dialogues are a moderated discussion between two stakeholders involved in climate adaptation at different levels (e.g. the head of a local committee and a national parliamentarian). The Dialogue asks the stakeholders to discuss an aspect of climate adaptation (e.g. how to evaluate and prioritise different adaptation measures).
The Dialogue is featured here on the BASE website and is published in The European Adaptation Newsletter. If you have an idea for a Dialogue or can suggest people who would like to participate, let us know!
Current dialogue:
- 'Bottom-Up Approach to Climate and Health', with Aline Chiabai, an environmental economist at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3).
Past dialogues:
- 'Windows for change and the need for leadership', with Mr Edgar Schmidt, member of the Coastal Committee of Timmendorfer Strand, Germany
