Carlo Orecchia (PhD, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”) received his BA in Economics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2003) and his MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2005 and 2010. He worked at World Bank Headquarters in Washington on Poverty and Sustainable Development and between 2006 and 2008 he was a consultant on micro simulation techniques for ISAE (Institute for Economic Studies and Analyses). He joined Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and Centro Euro Mediterraneo per i Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC) in 2011 as a junior researcher where he is involved in the economic analysis of climate change impacts and policies through both computable general equilibrium and integrated assessment modeling. His main interests are growth theory, economic development and applied econometrics.
