Volker Meyer (economic geographer) is a senior researcher at the Department of Economics. His main fields of expertise are risk management and economic evaluation, in particular with regard to natural hazards and climate change adaptation. In the past, he coordinated the projects RISK MAP and CONHAZ (Cost of Natural Hazards). Volker Meyer’s involvement in BASE mainly comprehends economic evaluation approaches for adaptation options.
